VIDEO: Police Special Forces Evict PAC Members from Parliament

Members of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) were removed from the parliament building earlier today by police special forces as tensions rose over an unsanctioned meeting.

The PAC, which was scheduled to convene on Thursday, did not have the necessary permission to conduct its session at this time.

The unexpected police action has sparked reactions among committee members and the public, highlighting concerns about transparency and accessibility in government proceedings.

Following the incident, the PAC announced that their meeting has been rescheduled to July 3rd.

Outside the parliament, PAC member and Opposition Leader Jamal Pringle addressed residents, emphasizing the committee’s work and the need for the public’s voice to be heard in governmental affairs.

  3. Don’t understand their plight. If the meeting was postponed why are they trying to give the impression that the public is not allowed. Wouldn’t they have been allowed to stay if there was a meeting?
