One of Antigua and Barbuda’s centenarians has died, as Lady Matilda Joseph passed away yesterday at the age of 101.
Presently there are 10 documented centenarians in Antigua and Barbuda.
I hope that you enjoyed a quality of life comensurate with the quantity of the years granted to you by our Heavenly Father. The strife is o’er the battle done.
Continue to sleep in peace.
A life well spent? She recieved her flowers before she died. God was goo’s to her with time and health
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith, Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” You have done a good job mommy. 101 is more than just a milestone, that’s years of success and service
A life spanning over a century, like Lady Matilda Joseph’s, carries so much history, wisdom, and experience for our nation. She must have witnessed so many changes in Antigua and Barbuda. Her passing means we’ve lost another living link to our past. May her legacy inspire future generations.
SLeep in peace Lady Joseph
