Browne’s Avenue Clinic Temporarily Relocates to Infectious Disease Centre

In a bid to improve healthcare infrastructure and service delivery, the Browne’s Avenue Clinic has been temporarily relocated to the Infectious Disease Centre (IDC), located at the former Holberton Hospital site to facilitate critical upgrades and repairs to its existing facility.

This was confirmed by Minister of Health, Wellness, and the Environment, Sir Molwyn Joseph, who informed the Cabinet last week that arrangements have been finalized for the immediate relocation.

The renovation is expected to modernize the clinic’s infrastructure, enhance patient experience, and boost operational efficiency. While a timeline for the completion of the renovations has not yet been announced, the immediate temporary relocation ensures that essential healthcare services continue without disruption.

Patients who previously accessed services at the Browne’s Avenue Clinic are advised to visit the IDC for all healthcare needs during the interim period. The Ministry of Health is expected to release further information on clinic hours and services in the coming days.

  2. This is just what we need—more disruption when we’re already dealing with health issues. It’s frustrating to think about all the delays and inconveniences this is going to cause. We deserve better than constantly having to deal with changes and upgrades. I just hope they actually follow through and make the improvements quickly because this is getting ridiculous.

  3. It’s an inconvenience now, but hopefully, it means better service and facilities in the long run. I just hope they put up clear signs and let everyone know exactly what services are available at the IDC.
