Jamal Prince Sentenced to 3 years plus in Prison for Illegal Firearm

Two men were sentenced to prison for possessing firearms and ammunition in a recent court appearance. The first, 39-year-old Jamall Prince from Seatons, was arrested on June 17 during a police operation.

Officers were searching for a suspect when they noticed three men together.

Upon recognizing the police, one man fled and hid between two parked vehicles. The police, feeling suspicious, pursued him and apprehended him.

Although no illegal items were found on Prince, a subsequent search of the area revealed a black and silver Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol concealed under some brush nearby.

When Prince appeared in court, he received a sentence of three years and five months in HM Prison for firearm possession, along with an additional year for ammunition possession, with both sentences running concurrently.
