A devastating fire swept through two homes on Ferris Road, located off Whenner Road, on Sunday evening, completely destroying the structures. Emergency responders from the St. John’s Fire Department arrived on the scene shortly after 5:30 PM but were unable to save either home from the raging blaze.

According to state media, one of the homeowners, who wished to remain anonymous, recounted his harrowing experience when alerted by a neighbor to the unfolding disaster. The resident reported that he only had time to flee the scene, underscoring the rapid spread of the fire.
