Night Road Work to commence soon says Ministry of Works

The Ministry of Works wishes to advise the general public that night works shall commence at 6:00 pm tonight in several areas.

The Ministry of Works wishes to advise the general public that night works shall commence at 6:00 pm tonight in the following areas:

•⁠ ⁠Queen Elizabeth Highway
•⁠ ⁠⁠ St. Mary’s Street

The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) will be working on the following street:

•⁠ ⁠Corn Alley

Please exercise caution, as heavy duty equipment will be in operation.

Road users are asked to adhere to the detours, and follow all instructions provided by employees controlling traffic.

Motorists are also advised to remove their vehicles prior to works.

  2. Remember to include the gutter road drain too, MP minister!! You travel around the world to different countries and you see the roads structure and gutter drains there in good condition—well kept. We can have the same here too, by start doing little at a time. Our public works staff are capable enough to do the job, all they need is the materials, tools and equipment to get it done.
