Foreign Affairs Minister, E.P. Chet Greene

Antigua and Barbuda’s Foreign Affairs Minister, E.P. Chet Greene, has firmly denied recent reports regarding his health, emphasizing that he is not ill and has not been transported overseas for medical treatment.

Concerns arose when Observer Media Group published an article claiming that Minister Greene had fallen ill and required medical attention abroad.

Since the article’s release, the misinformation has proliferated, prompting numerous inquiries from the public seeking clarity on the situation.

In an exclusive statement to Antigua.news, Minister Greene expressed his disappointment over the publication’s failure to adhere to fundamental journalistic standards. “Basic journalistic principles dictate that you verify any such information. I’m disappointed that OMG, which has my number, could not do the honorable thing of calling to verify the information. Haters are just that, haters,” Greene remarked.

For now, the minister encourages those concerned about his health to disregard the unfounded rumors.
