Kia Kirwan Crowned 2025 Queen of Carnival
It hasn’t been a full 24 hours since she was crowned Queen of Carnival 2025 and already Kia Kirwan is set to represent Antigua and Barbuda on the regional stage at the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen pageant, next month.
Taking place in Nevis on August 4th, Kirwan will compete against other delegates from St. Lucia, Nevis, Belize, USVI, St. Kitts, Guyana, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Turks and Caicos and Dominica.
Kirwan hopes to add this win to her cabinet of crowns having won Ms Labour Queen back in 2016 and now Queen of Carnival 2025.
Guyana’s Shequana Holder is the reigning Miss Caribbean Culture.
Antigua and Barbuda’s Dominique Trotman placed 1st-runner up.

The opportunity to compete against delegates from across the region is invaluable for personal growth and for promoting our island’s unique brand of Carnival and culture.
Shouldn’t the queen be reigning over all carnival activities. So she won’t be on the streets carnival Monday then
No! with the national crown on her head, Kia has to focus on the regional stage, as she preparies to represent Antigua and Barbuda at the upcoming Miss Caribbean Culture Pageant, where she will shine and make us proud, please God.
During carnival the queens are in the parades as figure heads. They play no significant role after winning the crown. So she has no excuse not to attend, smash the regional competition. and bring home the crown triumphantly
She can be represented in the Antigua parades by the first runner up.
Kia is a talented young lady with a supportive family so we should watch this space as she is destined for greatness.🇦🇬🇦🇬
