Police Announce Traffic Plan for Carnival 2025

21 July 2025 - 18:31

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has announced its official Traffic Management Plan to guide the flow of vehicles in and around St. John’s during the 2025 Carnival season.

The plan outlines a series of temporary road closures, diversions, and traffic changes aimed at reducing congestion, ensuring public safety, and supporting the smooth staging of major events such as T-shirt Mas, Junior and Senior Parades, J’Ouvert, and Last Lap.

The police are urging motorists, pedestrians, and business operators to cooperate fully with traffic officers and to follow all signage and instructions during the festivities. Public cooperation, they say, is key to a safe and enjoyable carnival for everyone.

A detailed copy of the Carnival 2025 Traffic Management Plan is attached to this release. The public is encouraged to review it carefully and adjust travel plans accordingly.

The Police Administration extends best wishes to all for a safe, peaceful, and fun-filled Carnival 2025.
