Rawdon Turner has expressed his condolences to the family and friends of Regan Calliste
Social Transformation Minister Rawdon Turner has expressed his condolences to the family and friends of Regan Calliste, who tragically passed away on Friday afternoon at a KFC drive-thru.
Calliste was a dedicated employee within Turner’s ministry, serving as the Director of the National Vocational and Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities.
Turner took to social media to honor Calliste, reflecting on his profound impact not just as a colleague, but as a passionate advocate and champion for individuals living with disabilities. “It is with profound sadness that I acknowledge the sudden and tragic passing of Mr. Regan Calliste. Regan was not just a colleague — he was a kind soul,” Turner wrote in his post.
The Minister highlighted their shared vision to renovate and reopen the Center later this year, a project Calliste was deeply committed to. “He poured his heart into that mission, and it breaks mine that he will not see it come to life,” Turner added.
On behalf of the Ministry of Social and Urban Transformation, Turner extended his deepest condolences to all who were touched by Calliste’s generosity and unwavering commitment. “Rest well, Regan. Your light will continue to shine in the lives you’ve touched and in the work we will carry forward in your honour,” he concluded.
Regan Calliste’s legacy as an advocate for persons with disabilities and his contributions to the community will not be forgotten. His sudden passing leaves a void in the ministry and in the lives of many who benefited from his work.

So where is his brothers statement? Isn’t the snake a public figure? Everyone is sending messages and antigua.news refuses to post or did he not send a statement at all? Serpy is still upset about his brother’s choice to endorse Dean Jonas? We remember elections. How Calliste said serpy never took care of dem kids and he was the one who had to do it. Funny how life is. But serpppy forgive and forget.
Yes he was all that indeed and his loss is a major blow
It’s heartbreaking to lose such a dedicated advocate. Calliste’s tireless efforts in fighting for disability rights have undoubtedly paved the way for greater inclusion and accessibility in our society.
