Vonde was a fourth form student at Ottos Comprehensive School and an aspiring young cricketer who recently represented Antigua and Barbuda in the Under 19 team during a tour in the UK. He also played for the Mahico Cricket Club. The young athlete had just returned last week from a tour of England and Jersey Islands, where he competed alongside fellow cricketers.
