As Carnival festivities sweep through the city, the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) has intensified efforts to keep St. John’s clean and safe. The NSWMA’s Water Truck Flushing Teams have been hard at work, flushing the streets throughout St. John’s during the vibrant Carnival celebrations.

Operating in key areas around the city, these teams use water trucks to wash away dust, paint, and litter left behind by large crowds and activities, ensuring a cleaner environment for residents and visitors alike. This initiative is critical during Carnival when the streets experience heavy foot and vehicle traffic.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to assist in these efforts by disposing of waste responsibly and respecting the work of sanitation crews as the celebrations continue.

This is a great initiative
Please ensure these people get paid on time cause they certainly putting in the work
