The Hispanic community is in mourning after the sudden death of Welvin De La Cruz, a well known Villa resident who has been living here for many years.

On August 6, his sister Kirsy reported that she found him dead in his bedroom.

She was alerted when she heard unusual sounds coming from his room. She said when she went in, he was unresponsive.

The circumstances surrounding his death are under investigation, as authorities aim to determine the cause of this unexpected tragedy.

  1. I know him. He was a very popular man. Loved by everyone. Sorry he died. What caused it. I hope foul play wasn’t suspected. I know his leg was broken but nobody dies of a broken leg ain’t it?

    • Broken leg can cause DVT or blood clot which can cause pulmonary embolism or stroke and a whole plethora of complications
