FSRC Issues Warning: Unlicensed Digital Cryptocurrency Bank Operating in Antigua and Barbuda

The Financial Services Regulatory Commission (FSRC) of Antigua and Barbuda is warning the public that “Digital Cryptocurrency Bank” (also trading as DCB) is not licensed to operate in or from the country.

According to the FSRC, DCB has never been incorporated under Antigua and Barbuda’s International Business Corporation Act, nor has it been granted a license under the International Banking Act to conduct international banking.

The unlicensed entity lists its website as https://dcb-banking.com, with contact emails at [email protected], and phone numbers +1 (680) 226-7970 and +1 (680) 227-2799 for customer and wire transfer support.

“All statements or representations by DCB claiming lawful registration or licensing by the FSRC to operate in any jurisdiction are false,” the Commission stated.

A list of licensed international banks in Antigua and Barbuda is available at www.fsrc.gov.ag.

  1. This is a serious matter that not only puts we the citizens at risk but also undermines the credibility of Antigua and Barbuda’s financial sector. I hope the FSRC is working to shut down this operation swiftly.

  6. So what exactly is the issue? This company is claiming to be registered in Antigua but operating illegally because it was never granted a license? So these people are mad? To just set up this company without any Greenlight from the government? In antigua all kinds od shady dealings are happening. I believe FSRC is quite aware of the situation. If not entirely…someone gave them authority.

  7. I support Ben. The real issue in our country is that the government wants to control every sector of the economy. Making such claims against a legitimate and independent financial institution like DCB is a shame. Instead of trying to control where people put their money, the government should focus on creating an environment that allows our country to grow stronger and better.
