Hurricane Erin continues to intensify as it moves across the Atlantic, now located roughly 365 miles east of the northern Leeward Islands. As of 5:00 PM AST Friday, the storm has sustained winds of 75 mph and is advancing west-northwest at 17 mph.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) forecasts that Erin will pass just north of the northern Leeward Islands, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico over the weekend. Rapid strengthening is expected, with Erin likely to reach major hurricane status in the coming days.
A Tropical Storm Watch remains in effect for Anguilla, Barbuda, St. Martin, St. Barthelemy, Saba, St. Eustatius, and Sint Maarten, signaling that tropical storm conditions are possible within 48 hours. Residents in these areas, along with the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, the Turks and Caicos, and southeastern Bahamas, are urged to stay alert and follow updates from local authorities.

Lord God, may the wings of your heavenly angels spread over these islands in path of storm/hurricane and protect them all in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, Amen!
Lets jus continue to monitor it while we prepare for the unexpected.
