While Hurricane Erin continues to unleash dangerous conditions across the northern Caribbean, Antigua is expected to see less than an inch of additional rainfall from the storm, according to meteorologists.
Barbuda, however, could still receive 1 to 2 inches of rain, raising the risk of localized flooding in low-lying areas. The National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) has urged residents to remain cautious, as outer rainbands from Erin may still bring gusty winds and squalls despite the hurricane’s center tracking north of the islands.
The Category 5 hurricane is forecast to continue moving west-northwest, gradually turning northward in the coming days.

Well. The other day they spoke about drought! Don’t hit me by surprise at all
We could’ve used that bit of rain.
Erin clearly respects our massive road repair efforts now in progress.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
A little rain without flooding is always a blessing during hurricane season.
I’m sure the people on Barbuda appreciated the rain happy that there were no incidents
