A police pursuit in Lower Ottos last night ended in a collision after a silver Toyota Vitz crashed into the back of a Honda Fit at the corner of Tindale Road and Joseph Lane.

Viral video shows the driver fleeing the scene on foot but was later apprehended by responding officers. No serious injuries have been reported, and the extent of the damage to the vehicles is still being assessed.

Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the chase and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
