Antigua and Barbuda’s delegation touched down in Barbados this morning to participate in the 2025 edition of the Caribbean Festival of Arts (CARIFESTA), the region’s largest cultural showcase.
The team, made up of musicians, dancers, visual artists, writers, and other cultural ambassadors, will represent Antigua and Barbuda throughout the week-long festival, which brings together performers and creatives from across the Caribbean and the diaspora.
This year’s festival will feature concerts, theatrical productions, film screenings, exhibitions, literary forums, and culinary events. Antigua and Barbuda’s delegation is expected to highlight elements of the nation’s music, steelpan, dance, and craft traditions.

CARIFESTA is such an important space for regional culture. Glad Antigua and Barbuda is well represented.
I really hope the performances are livestreamed. Not everyone can travel to Barbados, but people back home want to support too.
