Two New Additions to Falcons Squad for CPL

The Antigua and Barbuda Falcons have announced two changes to their lineup for the ongoing Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League.

American middle-order batter Andries Gous and Pakistani fast bowler Salman Irshad have joined the squad as replacements for Bevon Jacobs and Naveen ul-Haq.

Irshad is available for immediate selection, while Gous will be eligible to play from Sunday, August 24, following Jacobs’ departure on Saturday, August 23.

The Falcons currently sit at the top of the CPL points table with five points from four matches. Their next fixture is against the Guyana Amazon Warriors on Friday at 7 pm at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

Full Squad: Imad Wasim (captain), Shakib al-Hasan, Odean Smith, Shamar Springer, Fabian Allen, Rahkeem Cornwall, Justin Greaves, Jewel Andrew, Amir Jangoo, Karima Gore, Kevin Wickham, Joshua James, Obed McCoy, Usama Mir, Jayden Seales, Salman Irshad, Andries Gous, Bevon Jacobs (to be replaced by Gous).
