A Health Fair in All Saints West, organized by the UPP’s caretaker for that constituency, Harold Lovell, pulled more than 400 residents to that community. The event was held over the weekend.
The fair offered free health screenings, wellness education, and other community services while drawing attention to a persistent need: a permanent healthcare facility for the constituency.

Lovell praised the community turnout but stressed that temporary initiatives cannot replace lasting infrastructure.
“When politics fails, communities step up,” Lovell said.
“This community clinic shows that when government falls short, the people rise to meet their own needs. But while this clinic provides vital services today, it is no substitute for a permanent, fully functioning facility. Mothers still need prenatal care close to home. Seniors still need easy access to regular checkups. Families still deserve healthcare within their own community,” he added
Lovell described the event as both “a blessing and a call to action,” commending residents for their unity and determination while reiterating the UPP’s call for the reopening of the All Saints Clinic.
“We will not stop until a permanent clinic stands where our community needs it most,” he declared.
The health fair featured general health screenings, blood pressure and diabetes checks, nutrition counseling, and preventive care education. Local organizations also provided resources on wellness, fitness, and healthy living.

Residents appreciated the convenience of free, one-stop services but emphasized that such events cannot replace consistent, accessible care.
“Temporary initiatives are vital, but they cannot replace the need for accessible, long-term healthcare infrastructure in our community,” one attendee noted.

This is a great initiative, but it really highlights a bigger problem. Temporary health fairs are helpful, but our community deserves a permanent clinic.
The turnout proves that residents care about their health and the future of the community. Hopefully, this will push authorities to finally reopen the All Saints Clinic.
The turnout at the Buckleys Health Fair shows just how critical healthcare access is for our communities. A permanent All Saints clinic isn’t just a want, it’s a necessity.
Harold Lovell continues to play politics. All of a sudden you wanna engage in clinics in our community. We dont even know you bossman.

This is the most people that the UPP has attracted for any event they had lately.
I’m happy that people turned out to take advantage of this initiative
They needed that longtime. Their current MP can lobby for them. Go back where you come out
