Police are investigating a shooting in Bolans that claimed the life of an 18-year-old male.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear as authorities continue to gather information. Reports indicate that the shooting occurred at approximately 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, 27 August.
Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward, either by contacting the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or the Crimestoppers anonymous hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).
Further updates will be provided as the investigation develops.
One can only hope that the prime minister and minister of legal affairs make some kind of offficial announcement about the rampant crime, especially youth crime in Antigua.
It’s heartbreaking to see shootings becoming almost routine news. Authorities need to act decisively before more lives are lost.
