Antigua and Barbuda has strengthened its cargo transport links with the official launch of 7 Air Cargo, which touched down at V.C. Bird International Airport today on its inaugural flight from Miami.
The new service will operate every Wednesday, providing a consistent shipping option for businesses and residents. Officials say the addition of 7 Air Cargo will increase capacity, improve reliability, and help meet the growing demand for imports and exports between Antigua and the United States.
This latest development adds to the services already provided by Amerijet, giving the island a second dedicated cargo carrier out of Miami. The move is expected to ease supply chain pressures and provide more flexibility for importers who rely heavily on U.S. connections.
Industry observers note that Miami remains a critical gateway for trade in the region, and the introduction of another weekly service marks a step forward in bolstering Antigua’s logistics and economic resilience.

Finally, my Amazon orders will arrive on time. Ameriject was messing around for a long time. At least we have an option
It’s still Miami based and will be subject to whatever DT says. We need a Caribbean carrier and alternative trade routes otherwise we will continue to get spanked by Uncle Sam .
Get rid of Amerijet..They provide the worst service ever..!!!
Well well thank God. Amerijet cannot hold us hostage anymore
Two is better than one. More cargo more customers. Happier people
More cargo flights, more business opportunities. Antigua could use this.
Let’s see if packages will still take forever to get here.
Oh? How lovely!
We need more cargo planes so we can get our goods in two days like Prime
