Final preparations are now being put in place for tomorrow’s National Day of Prayer.
The Cabinet made the decision late last month.
It will be observed annually on the second Thursday of September. To preserve the sanctity of the observance, Cabinet also approved a ban on the sale and consumption of alcohol on that day, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The day begins at 6:00 am with prayer services across all congregations, followed by media devotions and prayers every half hour from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.

A March of Witness from the Multipurpose Cultural and Exhibition Centre to the Antigua Recreation Grounds is set for the afternoon between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
Proceedings will conclude with a National Prayer Service at the ARG from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The event is under the theme “Acknowledging Our Dependence on God.

Fair enough
Lovely! Let’s pray for the better of the nation
I hope people turn out for this like how we usually turn out for Labour day
Just a day of relaxing for me because i hate hypocracy
unless our leaders change, prayer will be of non effect
Prayer can and will be of great effect. We pray for the leaders to change
I hope the day is observed as it’s intended purpose
Another day when merchants could be making money. Wasting people time. Whats more shocking is that they going right back to their sinful ways.
Much needed for the nation right now. Prayer can never be too much
