New York, NY – September 16th, 2025 – The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA) US team held their annual retreat from September 4-6, 2025, to review past activities and strengthen strategic goals for upcoming sales and marketing efforts.

US Director of Tourism Dean Fenton praised the team for their contributions to high performance in the US market, giving Antigua and Barbuda a competitive edge. The retreat fosters team involvement in decision-making and addresses challenges in an open environment, enhancing their ability to showcase the destination effectively.

Sales and Marketing Manager Norrell Joseph highlighted the retreat’s importance for their ambitious US campaign. Several team members, including Renee Ambrose, Sean Matthew, Rod Hinds, and Norrell Joseph, received awards for their contributions, alongside Kim Essen for her years of dedication. Other attendees included Donyelle Bird-Browne, Devin Joseph, Aliah Maginley, Carolyn Punter, Marilyn Pires, Andy Liburd, and Wayne V. Lee Jr. from Wayne’s World Media.
