Scores of residents gathered outside Police Headquarters on Monday alongside the family of Khaleel Simon, the Bolans teenager who was fatally shot by police on his 18th birthday.

The demonstration drew supporters carrying placards and chanting for justice as they demanded accountability in Simon’s death. His family, visibly emotional, called for the immediate removal of the officer who fired the fatal shot.
Police Commissioner Everton Jeffers has said the matter remains under active investigation, but relatives insist that is not enough. They argue that allowing the officer to stay on the force undermines public trust and further compounds their grief.

Simon’s killing has sparked anger across Bolans and beyond, with community members voicing fears about police use of force and the safety of young men in particular. Today’s gathering underscored the mounting pressure on law enforcement officials to act swiftly and decisively.

They are not letting up.thats the spirit
Sigh Again I share the family’s sentiments that they need answers and they should get them
It’s heartbreaking to see another young life lost. Protests are a way for the community to demand answers.
And guest wa….. none tarl go come from dis, but me lub the consistency don’t stop justice must prevail
Don’t ease up the protest show them you mean business and deserve answers. More so removal of the officer involved. Unity is strength.
These people need to understand that they did a protest for Chantel and Angela is still eating out tax. Now it’s a situation that this young man was killed by someone who knows this headquarters inside and out………
WE DEMAND JUSTICE!!! After hearing the story, we demand justice!!! And when will they ever release the police officers name???
Antigua.news what is the cop name who killed my cousin. Please find out and get his photo. Remember we depend on this media house to bring the TRUTH to us. Don’t start letting us down.
We demand the officer be removed and charged…enough is enough
An 18-year-old should be celebrating his birthday, not being buried. Justice must be served.
This system just unfair, they really trying to get away with the young mans murder.Taking away a future just like that because of a badge and a gun
True,Without the badge and gun they’re nothing
They need to return to the streets until they get results
We will not stop until Khaleel gets justice. His life mattered, and his death cannot go unanswered.
