Man Injured After Mysterious Road Incident in Piccadilly

Police are investigating a late-night incident in Piccadilly that left a man injured and hospitalized after he was reportedly forced off the road by a vehicle.

The incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 28. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the injured man lying on the roadside.

He was dressed in a dark camouflage T-shirt and blue jeans and appeared disoriented from head injuries.

According to statements given to investigators, the man had been walking east along the Piccadilly main road when a white motor car approached from behind.

He reported that after signaling the driver to pass, the car turned off its headlights and continued toward him. In an attempt to avoid the vehicle, he jumped out of the way but fell, striking his head on a stone and losing consciousness.

The victim recalled regaining consciousness briefly and hearing voices before being left alone on the road.

He reportedly crawled nearly 200 meters before blacking out again. Emergency Medical Services were summoned, and he was later transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he remains under medical care.

Police issued a medical form for further evaluation, and inquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.

  1. I believe the person who did that thought, because of the way he’s dress,he could be involved in criminal activities.

    • What a slippery slope we are on when others can harm because how you are dressed makes you look like you are going to engage in criminal activity.
