Police are investigating a violent clash at Sanderson Estate that left two men with serious gunshot injuries on Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred around 9:55 a.m. when a dispute broke out on a family farm involving a 32-year-old man from All Saints, one of his relatives, and two other individuals. The confrontation quickly escalated, resulting in shots being fired.

Both victims were rushed by ambulance to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre. One man suffered a head wound, while the other was struck in the abdomen and leg. Medical officials have confirmed that both men are receiving treatment, with their conditions yet to be fully determined.

Police confirmed that two men are currently in custody and assisting with the investigation.

Authorities are urging residents to turn to lawful and peaceful channels when addressing disagreements, warning that violence only heightens risk and undermines community safety.

The probe is ongoing.
