APUA Urges Caution During Ongoing Water Main Installation in Cedar Valley

6 October 2025 - 08:48

The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) Water Business Unit is advising motorists to exercise caution as mainline installation works continue along Cedar Valley Main Road.

The ongoing project, which forms part of APUA’s efforts to upgrade and strengthen the island’s water distribution network, is expected to cause temporary traffic delays in the area.

Motorists traveling along the busy thoroughfare are urged to proceed carefully through the work zones and to follow instructions given by on-site personnel managing traffic flow.

APUA has expressed appreciation to the public for its patience and understanding as crews work to complete the installation safely and efficiently.

The authority continues to emphasize that the infrastructure improvements are vital to ensuring a more reliable and resilient water supply system for communities across Antigua and Barbuda.

  2. I hope they’re using quality materials this time. No point in replacing pipes just to dig them up again next year.
