Two Men Granted Bail in Sanderson Estate Shooting

Two men charged in connection with a shooting incident at Sanderson Estate have been granted bail, with their case adjourned until December 4, 2025, before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel.

Brian Benjamin, 59, of All Saints, and Bryan Benjamin, 32, of Swetes, were arrested and charged following the October 1, 2025 incident in which two men were shot during an altercation on a farm.

Both men are jointly charged with Assault, Wounding, and Battery on Jace Farrell. Brian Benjamin faces an additional charge of Shooting with Intent to Murder Simon Farrell, while Bryan Benjamin is also charged with Threatening Language.

The two victims sustained gunshot injuries and remain hospitalized in stable condition.

Police continue to investigate the incident and are reminding the public to resolve disputes peacefully and through lawful means.

  2. Bail again? These serious gun cases need to be handled tougher. Too many shootings going unsolved or brushed aside.

    • You grant them bail to go back and fo the same thing again?

      • If you dnt know what happened you shouldn’t be so quick to judge. Thus article in and if itself has incorrect information.
