
Veteran Broadcaster Nathaniel “Nat Moses” Francis
The media community across Antigua and the wider Caribbean is mourning the loss of veteran broadcaster Nathaniel “Nat Moses” Francis, whose unmistakable baritone voice and magnetic personality made him one of the region’s most cherished radio figures.
Francis passed away on Tuesday night, leaving behind a legacy defined by passion, professionalism, and an enduring love for radio.
With a career spanning several decades, Nat Moses’ voice became a staple across multiple stations from Gem Radio and Radio Antilles in Montserrat to Radio ZDK in Antigua captivating listeners whether he was covering national events or spinning love songs on his famed late-night programs.
He also lent his talents to ABS Radio and Television, joining broadcasts for major national events, where his distinctive tone and effortless command of the airwaves brought stories to life.
Beyond broadcasting, Francis briefly ventured into politics, successfully contesting a seat for the United Progressive Party (UPP) in the 1994 general elections, demonstrating his deep connection with the people and community he served.
