A 40-year-old man with no fixed address has been arrested and charged in connection with a break-in and theft at a popular city store.
Police say Gishaun Grigg is facing charges of Building Breaking and Larceny after allegedly breaking into Fashion Alert, located on Corn Alley, last month.
The incident reportedly occurred on September 5, when several items were stolen from the store, including four Samsung A6 cellphones, two Alcatel phones, two children’s tablets, twelve vapes, cartons of Raw and Bamboo rolling papers, a case of Blunt, two hookahs, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Following an investigation, Grigg was taken into custody and later charged. He is expected to appear before the court in the coming days to answer to the charges.
Police are once again appealing to business owners to improve their security systems and to report any suspicious activity near their premises.
