The latest forecast brings reassuring news for Antigua and Barbuda as Tropical Storm Jerry continues on a path that keeps its center passing north of the islands.
The probability of experiencing sustained tropical-storm-force winds has decreased to 13% for Antigua and 37% for Barbuda.
Meanwhile, the likelihood of hurricane-force winds has dropped to near 0% for Antigua and just 3% for Barbuda.
Forecasters continue to monitor Jerry’s progress closely, but current projections suggest that the worst impacts will remain offshore.
Residents are still advised to remain alert, as changing conditions can occur with tropical systems.
