Census Office Urges Public Cooperation as 2025 Count Gathers Pace

The Census Office is calling on residents across Antigua and Barbuda to give their full support as field activities for the 2025 National Population and Housing Census move into high gear.

Enumerators have been deployed across communities, going door-to-door to collect vital information that will guide government planning and national development over the coming years. The data collected will help inform decisions in critical areas such as healthcare, education, housing, and infrastructure.

Officials are reminding the public that all census workers can be easily identified. Each enumerator carries an official Census 2025 ID badge, wears a branded vest, and has a government-issued letter of authorization. They are also equipped with digital tablets for secure and efficient data collection.

Residents are being urged to cooperate fully and provide accurate information when approached. The Census Office says the success of the national count depends on the participation of everyone, as the information gathered will help shape the country’s social and economic policies for the future.
