Antigua and Barbuda’s 2025 Queen of Carnival placed first runner-up at the Miss Essence and Mind Swimsuit Pageant held Saturday in St Maarten.

Miss St Kitts and Nevis, Kadijah Mulley, captured the crown, while Antigua and Barbuda’s Kia Kirwan finished as first runner-up. Miss Trinidad and Tobago claimed second runner-up.

The international competition, held at the Aleeze Convention Hall on October 25th, brought together delegates from multiple countries to showcase beauty, confidence, culture and national charisma under the theme “United in Essence, Strong in Mind.”

Kirwan competed alongside several other Caribbean representatives including Jasmin Jade Ruan from Anguilla and Kimberly Sattur from Guyana. Haiti was represented by FloranciaCasseus, while the United States selected Malakya Wiggerton for the international contest.

There were eight competitors in total.

Competition segments included creative swimwear, glitz and glam swimwear, identical swimwear, and identical question and answer.
