The Artisans and Small Projects Exhibition, held at the Multi-Purpose Centre, from Thursday to Saturday, has been hailed a resounding success after three vibrant days celebrating the best of Antiguan and Barbudan creativity.
Organized by Ramee Alaeyk of B2B Events, the exhibition brought together dozens of local creators, from painters and sculptors to jewelry designers, authors, and craft makers, transforming the venue into a dynamic hub of artistry, culture, and community spirit.

The event drew a steady stream of visitors, including families, students, and tourists, who filled the hall throughout the weekend to admire and purchase locally made products. From handcrafted jewelry and eco-friendly décor to vibrant paintings and unique handmade accessories, the exhibition showcased the incredible diversity of Antiguan talent.
Alaeyk expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended and supported the initiative, saying the turnout exceeded all expectations.
“I want to thank every single person who came out to support our artisans,” he tells Antigua.news. Adding, “the love and energy over the three days were beyond what we imagined. This event was about giving local creators a platform — and the public truly showed up for them.”

He added that the strong response from both exhibitors and visitors reinforces the need for more consistent opportunities to highlight homegrown craftsmanship.
“This was just the beginning,” Alaeyk continued. “We plan to make the Artisans and Small Projects Exhibition an annual event, and we want to take Antiguan and Barbudan craft to the world stage. Our artisans deserve it.”
Among the standout participants were Khan Condice and several young authors who displayed their work alongside artisans using natural materials such as shells, wood, and clay to create one-of-a-kind pieces.
