Man Sentenced to 15 Years for Raping 12-Year-Old Girl

A 49-year-old man was sentenced moments ago to 15 years in prison for rape and 1 year 3 months for indecent assault.

As disclosed by Wadadli Case Files, the sentences will run concurrently and time on remand to be deducted.

The convict was found guilty in September of raping a 12-year-old girl at his girlfriend’s home in December 2021, when he was 45.

The victim, who was staying for the weekend, testified virtually from overseas.

She told the court he entered her room while she slept and touched her inappropriately. Later, while she showered in a bathroom, he pulled her out and assaulted her despite her attempts to resist.

A jury convicted him after hours of deliberation following the trial before Justice Ann Marie Smith.

    • Well, I am happy that the initial report was made, cause a lot of these rapes are covered up and only when the victims are adults they feel the need to speak out, because family member/s had failed them. The heart of some MEN are wicked.

I encourage my students to speak up!!!

  5. Hope he suffers for each and every hour he spends in jail. What’s done cannot be undone. He should therefore have received at least fifty years!

  8. Where are the victim’s male relatives is what I want to know. They should give him a near death experience because fifteen years is not nearly enough for the trauma he has caused that young lady and the innocence he has stolen.
