Man Hospitalized After Stabbing Incident in Piggotts Area

Police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred in the vicinity of Paynters Court, along Piggotts Main Road.

According to reports, officers from the Parham Police Station responded after receiving a call from a concerned citizen who reported seeing a man walking along the road with what appeared to be blood on his back.

When officers arrived on the scene, they met a 30-year-old resident of Piggotts Village who told them he had been attacked by three men while at a nearby shop. He said one of the men stabbed him with an unknown object before all three fled the area.

Police observed a stab wound on the man’s right mid-back area, which was bleeding. He was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre by police vehicle, where he was examined and treated.

A doctor at the hospital confirmed that the injury was not life-threatening.

Investigations into the matter are ongoing, and the police are appealing to anyone with information that may assist in identifying the attackers to contact the nearest police station or call the Crimestoppers Hotline anonymously.
