Political branch office on Federation Road broken into

Police are investigating a break-in at a political branch office on Federation Road, where burglars reportedly forced their way into the building and stole several items.

The incident is believed to have occurred between 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 11 November and 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 12 November 2025.

According to the office secretary, the building was secured in the afternoon and later discovered broken into the following morning.

Officers say the intruder or intruders used a hard implement to pry open an eastern door, entered, and stole a laptop, a composition book and two AAA batteries. The value of the items is still being calculated.

No suspects were found during a search of the surrounding area, and forensic personnel have been called in to process the scene as investigations continues.
