The world’s largest floating bookstore is staying in port a little longer than planned, giving residents one more day to explore its collection.
MV Logos Hope has extended its departure from Antigua and Barbuda by 24 hours, now scheduled to set sail at 11 pm on November 19 from Nevis Pier. The vessel was originally slated to depart on November 16.
The floating library returned to Antiguan waters earlier this month, marking its first visit since 2017. The ship offers a wide selection of educational resources for both children and adults, drawing crowds eager to browse its unique maritime bookstore.
Since its launch in 2009, Logos Hope has become a global phenomenon, docking at over 100 ports across six continents and welcoming more than nine million visitors. Its journey has taken it from Northern Europe through the Caribbean, across the African continent, around the Arabian Peninsula, and throughout Asia and Latin America.
Logos Hope is the fourth vessel operated by GBA Ships, an organization that began its maritime mission in 1970 with the original Logos, followed by Doulos and Logos II.
The extension gives book lovers and curious visitors additional time to board the vessel before it continues its worldwide voyage.

So after all this ranting, give the public the times the boat will allow visitors until it’s departure. Was looking for that.

I hope more people take this chance to explore Logos Hope. It’s inspiring to see such a global initiative right here at our doorstep.
