Team Antigua and Barbuda has delivered an outstanding performance at the Taste of the Caribbean 2025 culinary competition, capturing multiple silver medals and a Bronze Overall Team Award.
The competition, which brings together the Caribbean’s top culinary talent, saw three of Antigua’s representatives claim individual silver medals.
Senior Chef Eustace Cabral earned silver for his creative dish featuring pan-roasted beef, sous vide shrimp, fungi wrapped in plantain, sorrel and hibiscus watermelon reduction, and Antiguan chop-up salsa.
Pastry Chef Arielle Mills also took home silver with her Tropical Daisy dessert—a complex creation combining soursop cheesecake, passion fruit and mango crémeux, lime mousse, mango-pineapple salsa, and soursop sorbet on ginger crumble.
Bartender Auslando Davis rounded out the silver medal haul with three impressive cocktails: Ole Time Something featuring cocoa tea, a Soursop Martini, and Amaro About You—a mystery basket creation.
Junior Chef Azarie Crump didn’t medal but delivered a commendable performance with her presentation of caramelized breadfruit, pickled beets, and herb-stuffed pork roulade with breadfruit and avocado sauce.
The team was led by Team Manager Chef Olvanah Richardson, along with Junior Chef Mentor Jean Pierre Tuitt and Logistics Manager Jesse Thomas.
The delegation’s success was made possible through sponsorship from the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, the Citizenship by Investment Unit, Blue Waters, Galley Bay, Jumby Bay, Curtain Bluff, and LIAT Air.
