Public Invited to Town Hall on UWI Five Islands Expansion Plans
The Ministry of Education is inviting residents, students, and stakeholders to a public town hall meeting to discuss the upcoming Phase I expansion of The University of the West Indies (UWI) Five Islands Campus.
The meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 24, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., and will be held on the campus grounds.
According to the Ministry, the town hall will offer attendees an update on the scope and timeline of the expansion project. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions, raise concerns, and share feedbacks as the project advances.
The Phase I expansion is expected to include significant infrastructure improvements to support a growing student population and broaden academic programme offerings.
