A female motorist is asking for the public’s help in locating a driver who allegedly fled the scene after colliding with her vehicle along Burma Road last Friday.

The incident occurred on 14 November 2025, in the vicinity of the Landing Strip Bar and Restaurant, when the woman’s vehicle was struck by a white Lexus carrying the license plate A 64036.

According to the driver, the man behind the wheel who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, did not stop to exchange information and instead left the area after using threatening language towards her.

The woman reported the matter to the Parham Police Station, where an investigation is now underway. She said officers attempted to contact the suspected driver several times, but their calls have gone unanswered.

Police have not yet released additional details, but the victim is urging anyone who may have seen the collision or who has information on the whereabouts of the vehicle to come forward.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Parham Police Station or the nearest police outpost.

  2. As it is known who a license plate belongs to isn’t it the duty of the police to go looking for the person and not have this poor woman seeking help like this? I was under the impression that a hit and run was a criminal offence…am I wrong in my thinking??

  4. Running from the scene after a crash shows exactly how immature and reckless they were. If you’re bold enough to joyride, be bold enough to face the consequences

  5. Far too many ROAD HOGS operating motor vehicles on our roads. Two horrific traffic deaths in two days, a 16yr old could have killed himself and occupants during a joyride, and now this. Come on, traffic cops! It’s time for a public hog slaughter, just in time for Christmas!
