Attempted Break-In at ECAB Thames Street: Police Seek Suspects

Police are seeking suspects after an attempted break-in at the ECAB Branch on Thames Street early Tuesday.

At about 4:35 a.m., an alarm activation prompted security to check the building.

Two masked men were seen leaving a southern push-up window, with a third suspect waiting outside.

A glass window was broken in an apparent effort to access other areas, but the attempt failed and nothing was stolen.

The suspects wore dark clothing and covered their faces. Two are believed to be around 5 ft. 9 in. tall, and the third about 5 ft. 6 in.

They left the scene in a white Toyota Vitz.

Anyone with information should call the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or the Crimestoppers anonymous hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).
