As part of ongoing efforts to enhance crime prevention and national security, the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda conducted coordinated Snap Vehicle Check Points (VCPs), mobile patrols, and search warrant operations across several communities. On Sunday, November 30, officers executed multiple Snap VCPs around the city and stopped and searched several vehicles.
One motorist was arrested on Independence Drive for dangerous driving and taken to the St. John’s Police Station for further investigation. Simultaneously, officers carried out extensive mobile patrols with special focus on business establishments, government buildings, and schools. During these patrols, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Cassada Gardens, resulting in the arrest of a 19-year-old male on suspicion of forgery.
Police seized a mobile phone, a flash drive, and a computer, and transported these items—along with the suspect—to the St. John’s Police Station to assist ongoing investigations. In a separate incident, a male suspect was arrested in St. John’s on suspicion of robbery after officers recovered a glue gun concealed in a piece of cloth during a search of his person.
The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda remains committed to a safe and secure environment through proactive policing, including regular foot and mobile patrols, and encourages the public to report suspicious activity.

Wow. Multiple arrests. What about that Simon boy…the officer who killed him still working? Asking for a family member who is hurting
Whatever
The police appears to have been very busy over the weekend
Public reassurance goes up when people see active policing — just as long as officers also remain professional and respectful in how these stops are conducted.
Crime prevention isn’t only about reacting it’s about taking these exact steps before things escalate.
The police officer who killed Manny James is he still working. Also Simon on his birthday in Bolans.
These snap patrols seem to be making a difference
This is the kind of proactive policing we need heading into the holidays. Keep the pressure on.
