APUA Electricity Notice: Early Morning Outage and Repairs

APUA Electricity Business Unit wishes to apologise to customers served by the Cassada Gardens #3 Feeder, for an outage that occurred early this morning at approximately 2:19 am The interruption was caused by a vehicle accident.

The affected section of Cedar Valley and Friars Hill Road has been isolated and our teams are currently working to replace the utility pole and restore normal service.

    • I,, living in Cedar Valley ,,sat on my patio when at approximately 1:59am not the 2:19 approximation mentioned,,here,,heard what sounded like two gunshots coming from the vicinity of the golf course ,,then about 2:11 the electricity turned off. T’was later in the morning when I overheard someone saying they were headed out of cedar valley via the golf course Rd. when they had to turn round because there was a downed light pole on Friar Hill rd.
      I then realized and pieced together, that t’was not gunshots I heard but was probably a result of the downed light pole.
