  1. I’m sorry to hear dear but I think this move was made in the best interests of the nation rather one’s family. The era we’re living in today makes having a criminal offense, automatically gets you deported especially if ur a repeat offender and non national..

Hold it strong sister, you’ll pull through

  2. Sorry but that would be a bad precedent! Had this been a case of merely overstaying, I might empathize, but this Jamaican deportee HAS managed to build himself a serious criminal record here in Antigua. Concern for his children should have his #1priority before disrespectfully breaking our laws. You are right where you literally belong!

  5. I know this young lady and she is a very nice and jovial person. They should deport the hype fathers in the street that are working and still not taking care of their kids..the same ones who used women to come here to kotch.

    • Wrong is wrong. He knew he had kids to take care of; he should’ve stayed out of trouble.

I understand how you may feel, but at the end of the day, enough is already going on in this small island. We don’t need others coming in to make it worse.

  11. There is lots of in Jamaica right now.
    The rebuilding requires manpower.
    He will find work
If we allow him reentry we may find you dead like the woman at Cashew Hill, Althea.
You are confessing that what he is doing may not be legal however you want him back.
Is that the love you have for this country?
Your eyeware doesn’t look like it was prescribed.
That’s why you are probably seeing blurred.
Go back to the eye specialist
Antigua is better off without the likes of him
If he comes back we may find dead people.

  12. Miss did you tell the police that he had a gun and ammunition?

Is was a small part of Jamaica that was damaged.

He can work and support his children from there just like when Antiguans go to the US.

Immigration did you a favor. What kind of values he was imparting to the children? The weed and criminal culture?

    • Sorry! but he should think about his children first, before going and commiting crimes in our country. He can support his children from Jamaica too, just like I am doing, supporting mines from Canada.

  17. Cases like this expose the tension between policy enforcement and compassion. This is heartbreaking. On one hand, the law is the law, rules exist for a reason, and ignoring them can set dangerous precedents. On the other hand, you can’t help but feel for the kids caught in the middle. They didn’t break any rules, and now their lives are turned upside down because of something beyond their control.

  18. Why she and children didn’t go with him to his country? In some countries, they would deport the entire so that the family would not be separated.

  19. She and the children can go joined him in Jamaica 🇯🇲. She should have married the man so he could be legal in Antigua. Plenty construction jobs available now in Jamaica—people and businesses are rebuilding from the hurricane damaged.
