Destroyed project materials at Morris Bay in Old Road
Prime Minister Gaston Browne has placed responsibility on Opposition MP for All Saints East and St. Luke, Jamale Pringle, for the destruction of APUA infrastructure linked to the subsea cable project at Morris Bay, Old Road.
Preparatory works for Antigua and Barbuda’s subsea cable installation were thrown into turmoil after conduits and other project materials were deliberately set on fire, prompting the Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) to suspend operations due to safety concerns.
APUA officials reported that on December 12, teams discovered that conduits already installed for the project had been destroyed by fire. Preliminary assessments estimate the damage to be several thousand dollars, further delaying a project considered critical to improving the country’s telecommunications resilience.
Speaking over the weekend, Prime Minister Browne said that while Pringle may not have personally set fire to the pipes, he alleged that the opposition MP incited residents to carry out the destructive act.

As soon as you claim responsibility for the debacle with the Vehiclegate scandal
You Mr. Prime Minister incited violence when you told the criminals to get rid of their hot fire arms. You Mr. Prime Minister incited thieving when you told your MPs to enrich themselves. You Mr. Prime Minister is obstruction an enquiry into the vehicle percurment scandal. There is so much skulduggery going on under your watch. A dat you fuh study and stop deflecting. Them politicians have Antiguans like retards. SMFH
So I guess your retarded and at the front of the line..just asking for Antigua
If anyone encouraged people to destroy public property, they must be held accountable. This project is for the country. I wonder if the police will call pringle in for questioning boy
Gaston when you were in opposition u did worserer
Antigua have enough money. buy more cable. that budget was too sweet. yall not broke
I agree that he should but will he?
If supporters acted independently, does that still make him responsible?
