As the holiday season approaches, the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda (RPFAB) urges residents and visitors to stay vigilant and practice safety. Expect increased police presence with regular patrols in urban areas, residential neighborhoods, and busy shopping districts.
For personal safety, stay aware in crowded places, keep belongings secure, limit cash, use well-lit routes, and trusted transport at night. Limit alcohol consumption and follow crowd safety instructions. For beach and recreational safety, swim in designated areas, supervise children, avoid swimming under the influence, secure valuables, and stay alert to weather conditions.
Ensure home safety by locking doors and windows, avoiding the display of valuables, checking Christmas lights, and keeping flammable materials away from decorations. At gatherings, be considerate of neighbors, prevent overcrowding, arrange safe transportation, and keep emergency contacts handy.
The RPFAB encourages community cooperation in reporting suspicious activities and wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday season.

i HOPE PEOPLE TAKE HEED
Good advice!.
However, it is such a shame that many people are unable to participate because public transport has stopped even before some festivities even start and they are unable to afford the service offered by taxi.
Having said this, I do sincerely wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Christmas 🎄
