Regional carrier LIAT Air has advised customers to expect possible delays, schedule changes, or cancellations after one of its aircraft was temporarily removed from service due to a technical issue.

In an Important Travel Advisory issued on December 20, the airline said the aircraft will not return to operations until it fully meets all safety and regulatory requirements. LIAT Air emphasized that the safety of passengers and crew remains its highest priority.

“We understand the inconvenience this may cause and sincerely apologize for the disruption to your travel plans,” the airline stated, noting that maintenance teams are addressing the issue while operations staff work to reduce the impact on affected flights.

The airline said it is adjusting schedules and utilizing all available resources to transport passengers as safely and efficiently as possible. However, it cautioned that some disruption may be unavoidable as efforts continue to restore normal operations.

Customers are being encouraged to closely monitor their email for updates regarding their bookings, as the airline will provide further information as it becomes available.

LIAT Air thanked passengers for their patience and understanding as it works through the operational challenge.
