Darkwood Beach Bar and Restaurant was burglarized early Tuesday morning

Police are investigating a break-in at Darkwood Beach Bar and Restaurant that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

According to information obtained, surveillance footage captured two suspects moving around the property between approximately 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. One individual was seen shirtless, wearing cargo shorts and a light-coloured ski mask to conceal his identity, while the second suspect was dressed in a dark hoodie.

The incident has left the establishment’s owner, Shelmore George, visibly shaken. He described the break-in as a serious violation of privacy and safety at his business and was too distressed to provide further comment at this time.

Police have not yet disclosed what items, if any, were stolen, nor have they confirmed whether any arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

Investigators are appealing to the public for assistance. Anyone with information related to the break-in, or who may recognise the individuals seen in the surveillance footage, is urged to contact the police.
